Inktober 2024: "True Fantasy Football"
That Inking Feeling…
For years I have tried to participate in Inktober, only to get lazy and drop it after three or four days. Just didn't have my priorities straight. 2024, however, was different.
I had friends who had gotten the list early in September so they could start planning, and I wanted to as well. Only issue was; the official prompt list, I wasn't a big fan of. So I fixed that.
The NFL Inking Draft of September 2024
I had always disliked the idea of "Fantasy Football" teams, simply because it's never truly a "Fantasy" football team. Where's Godzilla? Where's Santa Claus? Optimus Prime scoring a touch down?
And that's when I knew: my inktober prompt would be a self-drafted "True" Fantasy Football team. 31 characters, 31 positions on the team, from Quarterback to Waterboy.
September was spent drafting up a list and sketching out all of their drawings/layouts so that when it came time in October, I didn't have to think. I could just draw and ink.
